Dear New/Readmit Student,
As a new or readmit student, you are invited to attend a New Student Orientation on Monday, August 17, 2009. There are two sessions available, please choose one below:
DAY SESSION: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The orientation will take place in the Events Center, room 214 in Beacon Hall from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
EVENING SESSION: Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. The orientation will take place from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Events Center, room 214 in Beacon Hall .
This event is designed to give you
a jump start at knowing information about the programs and services
at Housatonic Community College. You
will also be able to meet other new students who will be starting classes
for the Fall 2009 semester.
Plan to be a part of the Student Orientation; light refreshments will
also be provided. Seating is limited, so please call (203) 332-5094
to reserve your seat by noon on Thursday, August 13, 2009.
Please be sure to bring your Banner ID number, Social Security number and photo
ID with you.

IMPORTANT ORIENTATION INFORMATION
Housatonic Community College hosts NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION (NSO) to provide new students with an opportunity to get acclimated to the college, complete unfinished enrollment business, have their questions answered, receive insider information on what makes a student successful at Housatonic Community college, and connect you with how we can help you Achieve Your Dream. Basically, we prepare you to succeed here at HCC.
At the New Student Orientation you will also get a jump start at meeting other students starting at Housatonic Community College this upcoming semester. This is a great opportunity for you to build relationships with other students who will be embarking on this new journey with you. We encourage you to come with an open mind and motivated to start your college career! We encourage you to make the best of this opportunity. You will be sent a letter of invitation in the mail informing you of the date and time of New Student Orientation. Look for it in the mail soon after you register. We look forward to meeting you.
If you are a NEW Student, you must take a Placement Test (unless you have college credits). Please call (203) 332-5019 for an appointment ASAP.
