HOUSATONIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION SEEKS NOMINEES FOR ALUMNI HALL OF FAME
BRIDGEPORT – The
Housatonic Community College Foundation is accepting nominations for
its Distinguished Alumni Award – a
prestigious award bestowed upon alumni who have achieved a high level
of success in their careers, and are having a positive impact on their
communities. Three alumni selected from among the nominees will be
formally inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame at the Foundation’s
black tie Gala on Saturday, November 20 in the college’s Beacon
Hall Event Center.
In addition
to honoring the inductees, the Alumni Hall of Fame Gala is intended to inspire
the current student population. “By honoring our distinguished alumni
in this way, we hope to impress our students with the knowledge that with education,
they too have the potential to achieve career success and personal fulfillment,” said
Mr. Paul Antinozzi, President of the HCC Foundation.
The Hall of Fame Gala also serves as an important fundraising event
for the Foundation, which provides scholarship support for the large
number of HCC students requiring financial assistance. Event sponsors,
alumni and attendees will have the opportunity to support the Foundation’s
Scholarship Fund through sponsorships, general contributions and by
purchasing tickets to the event.
