HCC OPEN HOUSE APRIL 25
BRIDGEPORT, CT – Housatonic
Community College will hold an open house April 25 to acquaint prospective
students and parents with the college.
The open house will feature tours of the campus and will provide
opportunities for one-on-one conversations with college faculty, staff
and students. Transfer agreements with 16 other four-year institutions
and financial aid options are among those items that will be discussed.
HCC maintains transfer agreements with 16 four-year colleges and universities,
including Albertus Magnus College, Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, Central
Connecticut State University, Eastern Connecticut State University, Southern
Connecticut State University, Western Connecticut State University, Fairfield
University, Marymount College, New York University, Quinnipiac University, Sacred
Heart University, Post University, University of Bridgeport, University of Connecticut,
University of New Haven and Wheelock College.
Financial aid options available at HCC include Pell Grants, Supplemental Education
Opportunity Grants, Work Study, Family Educational Loans, Connecticut Aid for
Public College Students, Connecticut Work Study, HCC Grants and various scholarships.
For those who can’t make it to the April 25 session, information
sessions will be held May 18 and June 22. All three events will be
held in the Events Center in Beacon Hall.

HCC is located at 900 Lafayette Blvd. in downtown Bridgeport, less than 150 yards
off I-95 (Exit 27) and Rte. 8 (Exit 1), a block from the Arena at Harbor Yard.
