SHAYS, HIMES TO DEBATE HEALTH CARE 10/14 AT HCC
BRIDGEPORT – Republican U.S. Rep. Christopher Shays (4th Dist.) will debate Democratic challenger Jim Himes on the subject of health care Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Housatonic Community College. The debate, to be moderated by Aquarion Water Company President Charles Firlotte, will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Events Room on the second floor of Beacon Hall. The event is free and open to the public. To register, call 203-335-3800. Walk ins are welcome, space permitting. HCC is located less than 150 yards off I-95 (Exit 27) and Rte. 8 (Exit 1) in downtown Bridgeport.
