BRIDGEPORT STUDENT RECEIVES HONORS
Vanessa Reed of Bridgeport displays the Certificate of Achievement
she received upon completion of a five-week summer bridge program at
Housatonic Community College. The program, funded with a grant form
the Connecticut Department of Higher Education, offered 25 incoming
HCC students an academic skills course as well as a writing course
to help them get an early start on their coursework for the fall semester.
She received the certificate at a recognition ceremony held in August
at the college.
