HCC TO OFFER CONVERSATIONAL ITALIAN

BRIDGEPORT- Housatonic Community College's Department of Continuing Education is offering Conversational Italian Part 2 beginning April 2.

The course will build on the lessons of Conversational Italian Part 1 and will cover reading and grammar. The course will offer instruction in advanced usage of the language.

“This course would be a good experience for those who travel abroad as well as those who work in the travel and hotel industry,” said Deborah S. Kresge, coordinator of continuing education. Some advanced knowledge of the language is required.

The class will meet April; 2, 9, 16 and 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. in Room A234. The fee for the course is $89. There is an additional cost for the textbook.

In response to increased enrollments and changing workplace needs both regionally and nationally, HCC has increased the number of programs offered from 43 to 65 since moving to its new campus.
