Free Software for HCC Computer Science Students!
Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance
Through its participation in the Microsoft Developer Network Academic
Alliance (MSDNAA) program, Housatonic Community College
is able to offer free copies of Microsoft software to students taking computer
information systems courses that require the
use of that software. Some of the Microsoft software packages that students in
designated computer courses are eligible to
receive for free include Access, Visual Basic, and SQL Server. Please note, however,
that certain Microsoft software
packages, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are NOT available for free as
part of this program, nor are software packages,
such as Adobe Photoshop, that are from vendors other than Microsoft.
