Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and experience in classroom teaching, curriculum development and evaluation. Three (3) years experience working in Long-Term Care facilities. One year Clinical experience required. Emergency room experience preferred. Appropriate teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills conducive to instruction in a very diverse student environment. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications as stated are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience are equivalent to the stated qualifications. All applicants must provide appropriate references. |
Responsibilities:

Course and curriculum development. Teaching responsibilities in a range of subjects in the discipline to, including and not limited to, infection control, safety and emergency procedures; overall residential care; clinical supervision; counseling; and evaluation of students. Course schedule Monday (Lecture) 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Tues, Wed, or Thurs (Lab) 4:00pm – 10:00pm; from July 6, 2009 – August 27, 2009 |
