Non-credit Business and Industry programs provide training for management and staff employed in business, industry and municipal agencies in the region. Each curriculum is specifically developed to meet the unique needs of the company or agency. back to top
WHEN AND WHERE ARE CLASSES GIVEN?
Because non-credit classes do not necessarily adhere to the school calendar, we can design and run classes when it is convenient for you. Duration of the classes depends on the subject and other variable factors. back to top
Classes may be conducted at a location specified by your company, or in a classroom or laboratory at Housatonic Community College’s Bridgeport campus. back to top
Areas taught depend on your needs. Because we are part of Housatonic Community College, we can offer you some of the most talented and experienced instructors in the area. Instructors are not just teachers, many of them have worked in the field understand your needs. There is no cookie-cutter curriculum…we tailor our teaching to your needs.
Students in some courses may receive certificates of completion or other certifications. Certificates are issued through professional associations or through Housatonic Community College.
