Flexibility

Courses give you the flexibility to take your courses around your other responsibilities. Continuing education courses are offered six days a week, at different times throughout the day and evening to make them accessible to people who work on various shifts.

Instructors

Continuing Education instructors are highly regarded for their expertise. They are recruited from the ranks of the best talent available and join HCC faculty that is renowned for its expertise and is sought out as experts in their respective fields.

Staff & Classmates

You will find a supportive and friendly atmosphere with terrific teachers and staff who are here to help you achieve your goals. Your fellow classmates come from all over, they are all ages and from all backgrounds. Most have jobs, family responsibilities and, like you, they are determined to get the education they need to improve their skills and get ahead.

Facility

Housatonic is housed in a new campus at 900 Lafayette Boulevard in Bridgeport. The campus is convenient to major highways, buses, trains and even the ferry. Parking is free in our secure, well-lit garage (while engaged in college-realted activites). You will learn on state-of-the-art equipment, use a huge library with internet access, and enjoy our world-class art collection displayed throughout the campus. In short, you'll find yourself in a new world.
